FeniX, Solo, Santorin and Rikara are Gold Coin United’s first players

Earlier in the week it was announced that NRG Esports had sold its slot in the North American Challenger Series to J2K Esports and Technology, now the first members of the new team have been revealed. 

The team from J2K Esports and Technology will be known as Gold Coin United, and will feature Lucas "Santorin" Larssen, Colin "Solo" Earnest, Richard "Rikara" Samuel Oh and Kim "FeniX" Jae-hun. The team is currently looking to sign one, or more, Korean players to round out the roster. 

Santorin of course was on the NRG side that was relegated and then sold to J2K Esports and Technology, while FeniX also played in the LCS, under Team Liquid. Solo was also on Liquid last split, but on their Challenger Series team while Rikara played on Nova eSports in the CS.

The team is set to be coached by Choi "Locodoco" Yoon-sup who has has stints on TSM and Team Liquid in the past.
