Team Dignitas has revealed its roster for the 2017 League of Legends Spring Split.
As previously announced Dignitas has secured Kim "Ssumday" Chan-ho to play in the top lane and Lee "Chaser" Sang-hyun to play in the Jungle. Both players come off good splits over in Korea and are now looking to transfer that success to NA.
Joining the two Koreans as a new player on the team is AD Carry and former EnVyUs player Benjamin "LOD" deMunck.
Rounding out the roster is Jang "Keane" Lae-Young in the mid lane and Alex "Xpecial" Chu as support. Both Keane and Xpecial played on the Apex roster, which was acquired by Dignitas, last split.
"I was attracted to Team Dignitas’ infrastructure, talented roster, and incredible coaching staff,” said Benjamin “LOD” deMunck. "Combined with the Philadelphia 76ers involvement, I think this will be the ideal atmosphere for me to learn, improve, and grow as a player. Moving into Season 7, I am extremely confident that this team can compete and win against the best in the world.”
The team has also announced that both Jung Su Kim and Jae Seok Park will join the organisation as the team’s coaches.
“We have assembled some of the most talented players in the world, and the most forward-thinking, strategic coaching minds in the industry today,” said Team Dignitas President Michael “ODEE” O’Dell. “From my experience playing, coaching and now managing teams competing at the world’s highest level, I can attest to the crucial importance of an elite coaching staff. The addition of these coaches illustrates our commitment to developing Team Dignitas players to their full potential. We believe Coach Kim and Coach Park will help elevate Team Dignitas to a higher level.”
