Publisher Big Immersive to enter VR and AR markets

Publisher Big Immersive has announced it’s entering the virtual and augmented reality markets around the world. Headquarted in the UK and Dubai, Big Immersive already has numerous titles in development from its first party studio based in Lahore, Pakistan, and has three titles that are already available across multiple formats, including Agelore’s Fantasy and Love Cubed VR.

It’s also set to publish VR and AR titles from third-party studios "from some of the world’s most creative developers," according to the statement, on mobile, console and PC VR platforms.

Big Immersive is also able to provide "real support for developers in all aspects of publishing," and has dedicated teams for QA, publishing strategy, marketing and public relations for every stage of a game’s development, helping developers to take their titles from concept to release with the help of its experienced senior management team.

With Gamescom just around the corner, Big Immersive says it will be looking for more international publishing and technology partners over the coming months, and would love to hear from developers who are interested in pursuing a publishing partnership.

"As we move through the digital and information age, entertainment is only now beginning to explore the worlds that mixed reality can offer," Big Immersive’s CEO AR Azeemi said. "Our intentions are clear; to curate and deliver incredible content to consumers on the devices that matter to them. We’re working hard with our internal teams to deliver what we believe is the next leap forward in mixed reality entertainment, and are actively looking for potential partners to forge new relationships with in the years ahead."
