The company behind Unreal Engine has shared more about its plans for this month’s GDC – and even non-attendees will be able to enjoy the biggest news.
In its latest Unreal blog post, Epic Games revealed it would be livestreaming a special event – entitled State of Unreal: Epic Games Opening Session – via Twitch on Wednesday, March 16th at 9.30am Pacific Time.
For the past two years, this timeslot has seen Epic launch Unreal Engine 4, announce a new subscription model, then drop the subscriptions in favour of the current free version. The firm teases that this will once again be its “most newsworthy hour” during GDC.
Elsewhere, the firm will be running sessions throughout the entire conference. A full list can be found at the Unreal blog, with highlights including sessions on virtual reality, the new Vulkan API, upcoming MOBA Paragon and more.
