Are you ready for the $10,000,000 version of Dying Light: The Following?

In 2013 Codemasters offered a 125k version of Grid 2 that came with a car. Last year there was a 250k version of the original Dying Light. Surely it’s impossible to top such lunacy?

Nope.

Techland has once again teamed up with GAME to offer a ‘slightly pricey’ version of Dying Light: The Following. It costs $10m. Yes, ten million dollars.

What does this absolutely absurd amount get you? Well, four copies of the game, oddly, all signed by the developers. Probably of more allure is the chance to grab a supporting role in a film version of the game, which imaginatively, is called Dying Light: The Movie.

Also included are some professional acting lessons, a personal on set trailer, stuntman/parkour training, an off-road driving course, an FX make-up session, a screening tour with ‘first class’ accommodation and flights, ten VP tickets for opening night, and original copy of the script and the chance to voice a future character in the game.

Dying Light is one of the most exciting survival games around and what’s more – it’s Oscar season so what better time than now to head to the Hollywood hills,” GAME’s retail MD Charlotte Knight said. We know our community like to get in character and will have no doubt been inspired by the leading actors on the big screen – so this is a really exciting opportunity for any gamer wanting to hit the silver screen in style.”

Ten million dollars. Although to be fair that’s only 6.9m in today’s money so it’s not as bad as it sounds.

Roll on 2017 and a 1bn version of No Man’s Sky 2 that includes the Moon.
