Former Fnatic CS:GO roster reunites after player swap with GODSENT

Fnatic has announced that it has traded Joakim “disco doplan” Gidetun and Simon “twist” Eliasson to GODSENT and will get Jesper “JW” Wecksell, Robin “flusha” Rönnquist in return.

This means that the Major winning team from late 2015 and early 2016 is now back on Fnatic. For a long time they were considered the best in the world and were always a threat at major events. Then when Olofmeister injured his wrist things turned bad and the team never regained its form.

A roster switch with GODSENT last year saw JW, Flusha and Krimz leave Fnatic, although Krimz returned soon after. Now after disappointing Major’s for both teams  the organisations have decided to go back to what worked before.

“Needless to say, the aftermath of the team’s split in August came with many challenges and although we have shown great promise of late, we are confident that the revival of our old line-up will accelerate our journey towards once again being the best Counter-Strike franchise in the World,” said Patrik “cArn” Sättermon, Fnatic CGO. “I would like to use this moment to thank twist and disco doplan for their awesome contributions to our team and organisation, and I wish them and Godsent the best of luck in the future!”

The new Fnatic roster is: Olof ‘Olofmeister’ Kajbjer, Dennis ‘Dennis’ Edman, Freddy ‘KRIMZ’ Johansson, Robin ‘Flusha’ Rönnquist and Jesper ‘JW’ Wecksell.

The new GODSENT roster is: Markus ‘Pronax’ Wallsten, Andreas ‘Znajder’ Lindberg, Jonas ‘Lekr0’ Olofsson, Joakim ‘Disco Doplan’ Gidetun and Simon ‘Twist’ Eliasso.
