Ginx Esports TV to run live all-night esports broadcast ‘Fight Night’ on June 16th

GINX Esports TV has announced that it’ll be showing three live international esports events back-to-back on Friday 16th of June.

The event, dubbed Fight Night and claimed to be the first ‘all-nighter’ on television to feature exclusively live esports content, will start at 9pm BST with OGN APEX Season 3 Overwatch matches live from Seoul, Korea. Next, Call of Duty: World League matches from Anaheim, California, before ending with ELEAGUE’s Clash for the Cash Counter-Strike: Global Offensive showmatch between Astralis and Virtus Pro.

This weekend sees Dreamhack kick off in Jönköping, Sweden, but for FPS fans not at the event, GINX’s Fight Night offering could be a compelling spectacle.

For other TV networks, GINX’s all-night streaming event could be one to watch. If the viewing figures are high, we could see other companies putting together similar offerings.
