Snipperclips Joy-Con bundle heading to retail on March 10th, arrives on eShop March 3rd

Indie puzzle game Snipperclips – Cut it Out Together will be coming to the Nintendo Switch eShop on March 3rd as well as part of a special Joy-Con bundle at retail from March 10th, Nintendo UK has confirmed.

The game itself will cost 17.99 in the UK, but pricing for the Joy-Con bundle has yet to be confirmed.

The Joy-Con bundle is a special limited edition deal that comes with a pair of coloured Joy-Con controllers (neon red and neon blue) as well as a download code for the game. The title will also be available to try for free on the Nintendo Switch eShop as a downloadable demo from March 3rd.

Developed by the London-based SFB Games in partnership with Nintendo, Snipperclips was one of the sleeper hits of the UK Switch Premiere back in January. It’s a co-op based puzzle game where up to four players can either work with or against each other across three different game modes.

The World mode is for one to two players, but Party mode allows up to two to four players to tackle puzzle co-operatively. There’s also Blitz mode, which pits up to four players against each other in fast, frenetic, competitive-based puzzle solving.

Handy, then, that those looking to get in on the four player modes have the Joy-Con bundle on hand to add another two controllers to the mix.

Snipperclips won’t be the only title available to buy from the Switch eShop on Day One, either, as Nintendo announced yesterday that Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment, Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove and Fast RMX will also be Day One titles for the eShop, alongside the previously announced I am Setsuna, World of Goo, Little Inferno and Human Resource Machine.
