GameBattles integration means that those who want to get involved in esports at a grassroots level can quickly get into competitive play. It also means players don’t have to worry about false match reports, punctuality or game rules because all of those things are handled in game after a few clicks on the GameBattles website.
The feature has been a success in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, offering competitive match support for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms. As GameBattles is the MLG platform, it means the integration stretches from top to bottom, with the highest levels of online competition catered for as well as the grassroots scene.
Call of Duty: WWII launches on November 3.
