Cloud9 add Gods to Overwatch roster, say goodbye to KyKy

Top North American Overwatch side Cloud9 has made a roster change just days before APEX Season 2 is due to start.

Kyle "KyKy" Souder has left the Cloud9 team, and will serve as a temporary coach for rivals Team EnVyUs while they play over in South Korea.

His replacement is former NRG player Daniel "Gods" Graeser, who is a flex and DPS player. This seems like a smart move from C9, as having another flex player when a major patch is on the way is always a good thing. Gods will play for C9 in the APEX league and is with the team in South Korea.

“I’m very excited to be joining Cloud9,” said Gods. “Becoming part of such an amazing organization is definitely a huge opportunity for my career, and I can’t wait to see all that we can accomplish together. I’m also excited to be joining this roster of incredibly skilled players who know what it takes to win at the highest levels and are putting in the work to make that happen.”

“Returning to Korea has been a great experience so far, and I look forward to proving myself in the upcoming season. To my nephews and all other Cloud9 fans: thanks for believing in us; we won’t let you down.”
