Soma approaching 100,000 sales

Frictional Games’ latest horror release Soma has sold nearly 100,000 copies since its launch late last month.

A post on the developer’s blog reveals the game has sold 92,000 units across all platforms – finishing sixth on Steam’s top ten list last week in the process.

It took Frictional’s previous horror hit Amnesia: The Dark Descent a month to sell 30,000 copies. Soma has sold three times that amount in10 days (having launched on September 22nd).

Frictional states the money earned from the sales will be enough to keep the studio open for another two years.
