Two Overwatch players signed and released from Lunatic-Hai this week have now been picked up by a new team.
Esports organisation Laser Kittenz has announced they’re signing Lee "claris" Keon-Ho and Byeon "Munchkin" Sang-Beom. The two were ranked first and second in Lunatic-Hai’s previous player testing, earning them spots on the team’s South Korean champion roster. However, controversy struck, and both Keon-Ho and Sang-Beom were released from the team’s roster.
Munchkin and claris ranked first and second in Lunatic-Hai’s previous player testing, which earned them their initial spots on the South Korean championship roster. After controversy emerged regarding questionable behaviour from both players, claris and Munchkin were both released from Lunatic-Hai.
Laser Kittenz now has seven players on its roster. Sang-Beom will take up a DPS role, with Keon-Ho in a flexible role.
It’s been a dramatic week for the two players, but with the Overwatch League approaching and the South Korean bootcamp approaching, both players will be looking to settle down and get back to playing.
