Codemasters named best UK development team at MCV Awards

Codemasters was named best UK Development Team in the 2008 MCV Industry Excellence Awards, which were held last night.

The studio beat out Criterion, Rebellion, Bizarre Creations and Sports Interactive to win the prize.

In the finalists material, it was said that the team had been
nominated for its work on Colin McRae DiRT and new engine EGO as part of its £40m investment in internal development.
