Square Enix will release Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition on next-gen consoles on January 31st in Europe.
The SKU will bundle all of the original title’s post-release DLC as well as a number of other digital extras such as costumes and the like.
There will also be some consoles-specific functionality. On PS4 the controller will light up when you use the torch and flash orange when you’re shooting, while the Xbox One SKU will offer Kinect voice-menu support.
There are also some more subtle changes, including tweaks to Lara’s character model. It will also support AMD’s TressFX tech that offers detailed hair animations – this has only ever been seen before on PC. It will also run in native 1080p, presumably on both formats.
This next-gen version has been co-developed by United Front Games.
The existence of the game was leaked by Amazon last month.
